Nice place to spend a night or two, sitting with a company of friends around the fire (and the firewood is priced quite generously). Facilities may seem a bit aged, but I couldn't even call this a downside. There is even hot water to do your dishes.

Awesome! Luke, thank you. Spent 3 nights in the Chalet with my daughter.
Arrived with 7° frost... Beautiful! The entire landscape is white with the frozen rime, including the trees.
Fortunately, the very good wood stove burned and there was plenty of good firewood for a reasonable price.
Our urban lapdog enjoyed the sheep, Leon the camping herder, made an impression...
Lovely walk from the campsite into the beautiful forest where you never meet anyone.
The Chalet is well equipped for cooking and then relaxing by the wood burner.
We like Philippeville much more than the touristy Dinant. There is also a butcher with delicious homemade meats. A cafe, chez Rudy? with lots of local color and good local beers. Tasty shrimp croquettes too!

We were really happy we stayed at luc's place. It's a beautiful calm place close to the forest and just 20 km from dinant where you can do canoeing and where there are many restaurants, bars and stores. The house is very cute and build by luc himself with love. The house has a fire place and the bathtub for 2 people is amazing. The perfect place to come to rest. But if you like to do something active you can help luc in his permaculture garden and learn how to chop the wood. We loved to play with his dog and were grateful to meet other amazing people that came to the camping.
