Welcome to our small but nice campsite Mariengrund between the lake and the mountains. Our campsite is a great starting point for a day trip to Lake Chiemsee, which is only 2km away. For example, visit Herrenchiemsee Castle on Herreninsel or visit Frauenchiemsee Monastery on Fraueninsel. Here you will find pitches with electricity, also perfect as a stopover for tours to Slovenia, Austria and Croatia. There is also a kiosk in the square where you can get beer and delicious pizza made by a local Italian.

It's a parking space more than a camping. Very friendly people but don't expect a camping!

How was the contact with the host?
Good, very friendly.

Tips for new guests?
Bring the longest electricity cable you can find because if you have a tent, there are just a few poles and your cable needs to be really long if you want to have electricity!!

Spent a week on the beautiful tent meadow all alone with our roof tent. Everything was very easy.
Sanitary facilities are simple but very clean.
Motorway is very close, but not disturbing during the day.

Very friendly and helpful.
Needed information about the hiking bus and jump-start for the car

Cancellation Policy
