40Welcome to the dog paradise near Wismar and the island of Poel
You are standing in a former manor garden reforested with climate-stable tree species - one or the other old fruit tree is still there and can be harvested. The area is completely fenced. It is therefore ideal for dog owners who can let their dog run free on 12,000 m2 (!). Please keep the fence gate always (!) closed, otherwise the deer will slip in and bite the newly planted trees. So drive in, close the gate and enjoy the solitude. The manor was demolished in the 1980s, so you can still find one or the other relic. The forest should reclaim this area - have fun with your enchanted pitch!
What there is to discover in the vicinity
Whether long hiking or cycling tours with family or four-legged friends, everyone really gets their money's worth here. Explore the forest or take a walk on the beach on the Baltic Sea coast and enjoy the salty sea air and the sand between your toes. Wismar and the island of Poel are also nice destinations for a trip.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting an absolutely unique place in Mecklenburg-Pomerania with our motorhome and our dog Luna, provided by our warm host Michael.
Our pitch was on a converted farm that was turned into a dog paradise. With a huge 12,000m² fenced-off area, Luna had plenty of room to romp, explore and enjoy the freedom she loves so much.
The area itself is a dream for every dog lover. Michael carefully turned it into a maze of paths which made our stay even more exciting and fun.
There is much to discover in the area, from the beautiful Baltic Sea coast to the historic city of Wismar and the idyllic island of Poel. The fresh rolls from Neukloster at Edeka for breakfast were a real treat.
Our only minor criticism would be the size of the RV site which could have been a bit bigger. But that was really just a small detail in the midst of an otherwise fantastic stay.
Overall, our experience in this dog paradise was absolutely positive and we can recommend it to anyone traveling with their four-legged friend. A big thank you to our host Michael for this unforgettable stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
Tips for new guests?
A bike or e-Scotter would be good to explore the area.

Hello Torsten,
Thank you very much for this great review. Let's see if I can create a little more space for the camper.
As for the "labyrinth", unfortunately I have to pour a little water into the wine: these are the paths that I mowed for reasons of cultural care for the trees planted. This will be the last summer I do this. The trees are now big enough to black out the competing vegetation. Ie from 2024 I will only mow the pitch.
I'm glad you enjoyed the place so much.
Best regards
Michael

We found a lot of peace and nature. You could let our dogs run carefree. Luckily Michael had mowed beforehand so that we could set up a table and chairs. We were there with a 7.5 ton truck. Entry worked too. Drive slowly. Had to level the ground but found stones for it. The forest was very overgrown with grass and nettles. So you can't walk well in it. Since there is a small pond in the rear hidden part, you should expect mosquitoes.
How was the contact with the host?
Michael was very friendly and easy to contact. When we arrived he helped us a lot to find the entrance.
Tips for new guests?
Don't buy eggs beforehand as there is a local egg cabinet nearby.
Bring good mosquito repellent. Visit the bathing lake in Neukloster. We haven't, but we've heard that it's supposed to be beautiful.

The app had managed that the single place was awarded twice. So it was occupied when we arrived. Although it was Ascension Day, the host immediately answered his cell phone. He found a great alternative for us. We thought that was great.

Idyllic place - especially the dogs had a lot of fun, gladly again. :)
Arrival was very uncomplicated due to the description.
The place was somehow occupied twice via Campspace, the operator directly offered an alternative for the further arrival, so no problem.
How was the contact with the host?
Fast response time and very friendly!

After a pleasant conversation with the owner, I was able to organize everything very easily and found the place easily.
Unfortunately a tree fell down relatively close to the entrance (after the storm a few days ago this old dead tree probably fell down, but I couldn't see any other risky trees, so that's fine) and I was only able to park right at the entrance.
The actual space where you should park is still relatively narrow (it needs to be cleared a bit?).
I was then able to walk my dog through the fenced-in park and the many small paths (which you have to "cut" from time to time) (there is a small pond below).
From the camp you can go for a nice walk in the nearby fields, it's worth it.
The night was very, very pleasant and in the morning, although the highway can be heard, one is rather pleasantly woken up by the chirping of the birds.
How was the contact with the host?
Absolutely top, very easy to reach, perfect
Tips for new guests?
I love this very beautiful natural corner more than anything, there should be many, many, many more of them(!) but don't forget to bring insect repellent (they are extremely many, and it's very good!)! :-)

Beautiful surroundings. easy to find address. The location is great, even if a pond on the property probably promotes the mosquito population.
Great bike tours possible, but unfortunately there are few bike paths in the area.
Sweet villages nearby, also accessible by bike.
Well fenced in, however, large tick colonies are resident.
Next to the frogs it is comfortably quiet at night.
Probably not the last night in this place.
An improvement would be a turning facility on the property as the way down, backwards and for inexperienced wowa drivers was a task. :D
How was the contact with the host?
Friendly and informative. Everything positive.
Tips for new guests?
Fly mesh, comb the dogs well because there are ticks, ride a bike into town, nature is wonderful.

The site is not so easy to access with a camper. It is densely vegetated. In fact, there is only room for 1 camper because you cannot pass each other. If you continue driving on the site, you really need an off-road vehicle. There are no amenities. In that sense, we find 25 euros + booking costs a bit expensive. It is nice that new nature is being created.
How was the contact with the host?
Great, responds quickly.
Tips for new guests?
If it rains, do not drive further than just behind the gate because you can get stuck.
