Welcome to Hesse's Fairy Tale Forest. We have a manicured green lawn with picnic tables and campfire facilities in the backyard large enough for several tents. Perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Sanitary facilities with access to fresh drinking water, a hot shower and toilet provide the necessary comfort.

Must dos in the region:

During a camping visit in Hofgeismar, a side trip to the Reinhardswald Nature Park is not to be missed. At the gates of the Documenta city of Kassel lies the largest closed forest area in Hesse, the Reinhardswald. Enclosed by the rivers Weser, Diemel and Fulda, mighty, centuries-old hute oaks and extensive beech forests await you here.
