Very nice garden in quiet area 10min walking from the train station. The garden is full of fruit trees and there is a nice outdoor shower. The host is super friendly and helpful. Cosy, cute place, we enjoyed it a lot!

The campspace was really nice, the host, Karl was sure friendly and helpful. we got to pick some Mirabelle from his trees, and we also cooked some veggies on the fire. It was very quiet and tranquil. the Rhine falls are very close, about a 20 minute car ride, we went there for a bit. the neighbour had some goats and horses. there was a nice outdoor shower, and a nice place to sit and relax if rainy.
How was the contact with the host?
the contact was super, very straightforward and he gave us some advice, and had loads of stories to tell. helped us with the fire, and in general a very nice person.
Tips for new guests?
make use of the German supermarket, it is very close. there is no grey or black waster disposal facilities. and there is an organic bin but no general trash. but at the supermarket nearby there is.

A rustic place, by a globetrotter for globetrotters. Quietly located and still ideal for tours to the Rhine Falls, Rheinau Island and exploring the Blauburgunder country.

Karl is a great host - warmly friendly and gives an overview of the place and the surrounding area in a short time.
The site is on the edge of the village on an orchard. Next to it are horses and goats. Behind the mountains.
There is a barbecue area, a covered terrace and even a lounge in the garden when it rains.
How was the contact with the host?
Contact with Karl is unproblematic. Quick response.
We couldn't foresee the time of our arrival and communicated it that way - thank you, Karl, for your flexibility.
Tips for new guests?
The highlight for us in the evening was the walk through the village up the mountain, where we hiked to Germany within half an hour.

Not enough stars to rate our stay. Great experience at the German-Swiss border. As a family, with our children aged 3 and 9, in tents for 4 days, the space includes everything you need: drinking water, fresh shower, WC with a view, up to the shaded pergolas, even the barbecue ( not allowed during our stay due to drought). The garden is very pleasantly landscaped with small spaces everywhere. The city is well located, at the crossroads between the black forest and the natural park or the Rhine falls. We will return !

Karl and Norma are welcoming, super friendly, helpful, very good advice and with little onions for their hosts. When they have an aperitif, glasses await their potential surprise guests. Polyglots, they live travels and travelers while remaining completely discreet. Thank you for letting us discover your little corner of paradise. We will return !

Contrary to the description of the host and the reviews, the place is actually no more than a lawn behind a residential house. The location is also not in nature, but in the middle of a medium-sized village.
How was the contact with the host?
The host was not at home when we arrived, and therefore did not keep the agreement. We had reserved for 9 days in advance, and we could only book by transferring the full amount in one go. Since the place did not meet our expectations. I wrote a message to Karl asking if we could come to a reasonable arrangement so we could look for another place. Karl took 2 days to respond, and no reasonable conversation was possible. That's businesse was all he could answer. The host had suffered no loss, as there were no other guests.
