Spend the night where Elector Augustus of Saxony once resided. High above the Zschopautal and with a stunning view of the Ore Mountains, you will spend the night at the foot of Augustusburg Castle. Immerse yourself in 450 years of history and experience "the crown of the Ore Mountains" in a completely new way. Because of its monumentality and museums, it is now considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in Central Europe. The self-sufficient parking space for caravans, mobile homes or vans is located at the main parking lot/at the back of the building. (Street Hintere Schlossauffahrt). Two signposted parking areas are available here.

Not far from Chemnitz (approx. 25 km) with its Klaffenbach moated castle and botanical garden, you can relax in the most beautiful mountain landscape: in a wonderfully quiet location right next to Augustusburg Castle. In just 15 minutes you can reach the old town of Augustusburg and all around there are walking and hiking trails waiting to be discovered. The A4 motorway can also be reached quickly (approx. 30 km)

Cancellation Policy

Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
