Nature experience on the ostrich farm
Warm welcome! My tent and mobile home pitch is about 15 minutes from Regensburg. This is on a meadow in the middle of the farm between the chick pens, young animal pens, breeding animal pens and the farm shop. Power connection, fresh drinking water and roofing provide the necessary comfort. Barbecues are also permitted and your four-legged friends are welcome guests.
This is what I can discover:
My ostrich farm is in Münchsried (near Naabtal) and is high up. In nearby Pielenhofen (with monastery) you can visit the beer garden in summer or swim in the Naab. Not far away there is a boat rental with canoes. Alternatively, a visit to the city of Regensburg on the Danube, known for its medieval center, is always a worthwhile destination.

Tell us about your experience
It was a super fun and unique experience to stand on an ostrich farm. You are literally standing between the pens of the ostriches. It is very small scale which makes it extra special.
How was the contact with the host?
We had good contact. Daniel let us know in advance how exactly we could reach the camping spot. During our stay we got a tour of the ostrich farm.
Tips for new guests?
Please note that there are no sanitary facilities on the camping site. There is water and electricity.
