A lovely place to stay and nice to be allowed to choose a pitch especially with the help of an extension cable when we didn't quite reach ;)! Lovely to have access to the local fresh produce, a daily bakery delivery to the site, and some local beer ;)! Facilities were kept very clean. Thanks again!

How was the contact with the host?
Margot was quick to respond and always very helpful and smiley :)!

Tips for new guests?
Well worth staying here if you want to be in this area, good access to the somme region. The boat rides in Amiens and a visit to see the parachutes land at the local airfield were both good :)! Make the most of the home grown produce on site :)!

We had a great stay at the campsite. It is a quiet and peacefull area. It was an incomplicated stay, checking in and out was easy. Most special moments were the sunsets during dinner. Facilities were very clean.

How was the contact with the host?
Contact with Margot went well, she showed us around and gave some recommendations to do. She is a friendly person who speaks English well.

Tips for new guests?
There are a lot of hikes to do in the area, st Quintin was a nice city. For the rest it is a quiet area. A tip to bring anti bugs stuff (it is a farm after all) and to bring a portable light as it is quite dark at night.

Wow! Margot is hospitable and immediately showed us everything and how beautiful it is! We actually wanted to stay here longer than 1 night. We were SO happy with a nice hot shower and good toilets. There is plenty to see and do. Ping pong table, nice view, chickens and you can also buy homemade jams.

How was the contact with the host?
Very nice and welcoming! She thinks along with you and lets you choose a spacious place yourself. We wanted to be able to open the back of our van in the morning in the sun, so we chose the perfect spot for this.

Tips for new guests?
Bring cash for the baker who brings fresh bread in the morning! Unfortunately we had no money and were very jealous of all the fresh rolls that were there! The baker comes every day except Sunday, I happened to read.

Tell us about your experience
Our host, Margot greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. We are not able to comment on the regular camping pitch area as we arrive in the winter and after weeks of heavy rainfall. Margot had beforehand informed us about the condition of the area and gave us an alternative to park on her yard on the gravel and closer to the bathroom. We of course agreed to that arrangement because it was a beautiful place despite the weather. There was a clean toilet and shower with warm water. Also a little kitchen.

How was the contact with the host?
Margot was very helpful, informative and responded to messages swiftly. She is a wonderful host always ready to help.

Tips for new guests?
The baker comes every morning except Sundays and you can order baguettes, croissants etc...highly recommend to order!

Very nice camping space. We stayed just for one night, before the next leg of our journey, but i recommend this camp site for longer period as well. It has all the amenities that you need, clean toilets and shower, a small kitchenet to wash some dishes, washing machine (for a fee) to wash your clothes. Every morning the baker is bringing baguettes and croissants which i recommend to order. You can also buy eggs, vegetables and confitures.

A great campsite if you don't have too many wishes.
There are 3 showers, 2 toilets. There is also 1 sink, 1 washing machine and 1 refrigerator in the kitchen.
Washing machine is available for a fee and you can store a few small items in the fridge. It also contains some products that you can purchase for a fee, such as juice and some beers.
Also the possibility to order baguettes and croissants in the evening so that you can pick them up in the kitchen the next morning.

Sanitary facilities are cleaned every day and are sufficient for the number of places on the campsite.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. She is always happy to talk to you in both French and English. Very sympathetic.

Tips for new guests?
If you have sensitive hearing, bring earplugs. A through road is a few hundred meters away.
This can sometimes give some noise in the evening and / or early morning. But with my earplugs I was able to sleep well.

To complete the review: it's true that the supermarkets in this area are only open on Sunday mornings and not the rest of the day. Nevertheless, for lunch on Sunday evening there is a good restaurant address just 6 km from the campsite and also others open on Peronne (located 10 km away).

A wonderful stay in this region with its intense WWI history. Very nice people, pheasants on your path and birds everywhere.

The campsite was spacious, clean, green and the sanitary facilities were more than adequate and very clean!! Wonderfully quiet enjoyed with our 2 children.

How was the contact with the host?

Tips for new guests?
Enjoy the climbing park (check the opening hours!) the small steam train and it's just over 1 hour to Parc Asterix for a great Gallic experience!

Tell us about your experience
It was a calm campingspace, we really enjoyed the rest in the nature. The pitches were large and it was lovely to stay between the hortensias. There was a terrace near our pitch on which you could sit. Overall it is quite dark on the campground during the night, which is understandable around the places but the sanitary block could really use some lights at the outside.

How was the contact with the host?
The contact with the host went good! We texted when we would arrive and there was a person available to guide us. It was a personal greeting with a tour around the domain, really helpful, we felt immediately home!
