About this campspace #s005403

Your host

Unique camper place on a breakwater directly on the water sports beach 'Bataviastrand' with a view over the vast Markermeer on the one hand and the Bataviahaven on the other. Exceptionally suitable for kite, wind and wing surfers, and the go-to place for foilers with a surf school and rental on site.
The location has recently been opened for motorhomes and is completely self-sufficient: from autumn 2021 the water system will come into operation, whereby Markermeer water is purified into potable (and warm) shower water, and rainwater into drinking water for consumption. The waste water is biologically purified and returned to the Markermeer. Furthermore, energy is generated and stored itself.

This is a very chill place if you like windsurfing, supping and other water sports. When we arrived we were welcomed by a very friendly campsite owner. He said they are only open for 6 weeks. Even though you see that they have only just opened, you already feel that it is very relaxed to be here. A nice terrace and attractive vegetation would make the place even more enjoyable. At this campsite you are completely off-grid, there is (no) water point or electricity. You can rent a lot of gear to go on the water. Including a sup where you can go with 8 people!
