Sleeping in French nature? Go nature camping in your own tent or camper in the middle of the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin, a large nature reserve with many forests, lakes and mountains, which is also called Périgord-Vert the green Périgord.

You will stay overnight at a private Domaine du Moulin Neuf which is over 25ha in size and where you can spot many animals. At our Camp Space sites there is a natural lake of more than 10,000 m2 (1 ha) and a depth of 6 meters, with continuously fresh flowing water from the river "Le Périgord".

Guests of the Camp Space sites are allowed to cast a rod into the lake and fish, however, anglers are expected to treat the caught fish with respect and release the fish into the lake after the catch.

We have a lot of attention and respect for nature, the animals that live there and their conservation. Climate responsible living is actually an obligation for everyone, but it always starts with yourself! It is not possible to compensate for the damage that man inflicts on nature, for that man is too many in number. It is, however, easy to live, work, do business and also go on holiday in a climate-friendly way.

For visitors via Camp Space who want to go camping in nature (wild camping) we use adjusted low rates because we want everyone to enjoy the beauty that our Domaine has to offer.

At the Domaine there is a source for delicious drinking water, you can also swim in the pool or take a dip in the lake. The picnic tables present provide a comfortable place to eat and drink.

This is a fantastic place. Armand & Bas have an oasis here that they like to share with campers. We swam in the lake, in the pool and enjoyed the lovely garden. We are curious about the further progress of the renovation of this beautiful house and will certainly visit these sympathetic Dutch people!

Fantastic place, lovely outside in the natural. Great to cool off in the pool or take a walk in the woods. Lots of privacy. The children had a great time in the large garden. Watching the beautiful starry sky at night.

When we entered the site our first impression was really wow! The swimming pool, all the greenery, the gigantic lake.. everything was very overwhelming.
The reception of Armand and Bas was also very pleasant, everything was clearly explained, everything was ready (water, electricity) even an extra tent for us.
The field was finished for us. You saw 2 people with a vision who knew about tackling and had made this wonderful place and even more beautiful place. Nature was central during our stay. We literally only slept in our tent. In the evening when all the lights were out you could admire the stars or just sit outside quietly with running water in the background. We had a small terrace where we could perfectly prepare and dine our meals.
There was a clean and nice bathroom for the guests. It is cleaned no less than 3 times a day.
What we liked was that the supermarket was less than a 10-minute drive away. It was not a big super marche, as we know it in France, but rather a supermarket by Belgian-Dutch standards. You could find everything there and there was a local butcher for tasty meat.
If you do get bored on a domain of 25 hectares, there are plenty of other activities. We visited a castle in a village a 10-minute drive away and the place Oradour-sur-Glane. Both very impressive.
This was really a very pleasant stay. What Armand and Bas have done with this place is unlikely. We also felt their own vision of preserving nature and animals in our stay. It was a piece of Limburg/Brabant hospitality in the heart of France.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. In the beginning everything was explained to us very well. Throughout our stay we could ask everything from our hosts (practical matters / trips). They were also available for a light chat. Every day they came to ask if everything was still to your liking, very nice!

Tips for new guests?
No doubt you are going to have such a nice time here!

The estate of Armand and Bas is beautiful! The hosts are very welcoming and pleasant. They told us about the interesting history of the estate. We were able to park our van on lovely grass, with an evening sun and next to the river that runs past the house. Didn't use the pool but it looked great. At night it is dark and quiet. Chickens roam free and come to greet you in the morning. Definitely a place we recommend to others!

How was the contact with the host?
Very good and fast!

Tips for new guests?
Make sure you have groceries with you, because the supermarkets are a bit further away.
