Meet Ann, your host

I live for 30 years in this house. It was a ruïn when we bought it, with blood sweat ands tears I built it up. But not at all finished... I like reading, writing (journalism, poetry, proza) and I make theatre. I love my place because of contact with nature and animals, oké, it's not a villa but here one can meet himself and the other one.

Bianca recommends this place

A romantic path full of willow trees leads you to the rear of this deep garden. From this point you have a beautiful view over the meadows with horses and cows. A perfect place to set up our tent! This Campspace is really back to basic, which makes the place ideal for when you are in transit. There are some tree stumps that serve as a chair and table and there is no shower. There is a compost toilet and a normal toilet. In the evening we made a fire and enjoyed the silence. It is very cool to set up the tent in the middle of nature, within walking or cycling distance of the beautiful center of Bruges!

We had an excellent weekend in Bruges. Ann was not at home when we arrived, but we could easily reach her by telephone and were allowed to set up the tent in an idyllic place at the back of her garden. We visited the city by bike. From this Campspace in the middle of nature in the middle of the city within 20 minutes. In the evening we met Ann, who welcomed us in a friendly way. She enjoyed being able to offer people a place in her garden. Ann was only concerned that it would not be clear to campers that there were almost no facilities. This was not a problem for us. In short, we will do this more often and look forward to the next time.
