About this campspace

Beeive Base Site is situated at Moculta in the Barossa Valley only approximately eight minutes drive from Angaston. It is a private low cost camping facility on 2 Acres. It will fit all size rigs, so you are welcome to bring your self contained RV or Caravan onto the property, however you will need your own toilet, shower and power. Our magpies are quite used to us and do not swoop us and we live together with them in harmony.\nOn a Sunday morning you may wake to the sound of the Church bell just up the road. It’s a very peaceful setting. At night times you may hear all of the bullfrogs talking to each other on the dam or even hear a fox calling out to it’s mate.\nYou will only be a few minutes from some of the most famous Barossa Valley towns such as Angaston, Nuriootpa and Tanunda and some of the finest restaurants. Every second year during April the Barossa Valley Vintage Festival is celebrated with a variety of events held throughout the Barossa Valley.\n\nDo you need some supplies? Why not visit the Barossa Farmer’s Market located on the corner of Nuriootpa and Stockwell Roads, Angaston open every Saturday from 7.30am to 11.30.\nHere are some quick directions to find us.\n\nComing from Nuriootpa travel to Angaston and travel through the main street and turn left at the top of the main street. You will be taking the Angaston to Moculta road.\n\nFrom that intersection travel approximately 8 minutes through windy and undulating road and you will come to a sweeping corner to the left and on a bit, a sweeping corner to the right, continue up the hill with vines on your right and take the next turn right which is a gravel road called Lindsay Park Road. You will see the church bell steeple in the distance. approx. half way along there you will find the camp ground on the right, (if you get to the ford you have gone too far) Just turn up anytime and settle in, and if we are not home, don’t worry we will catch up with you. Enjoy your stay!\n\nRules:\n- It would be great if you could come and keep a fairly low, quite profile and enjoy the serenity. \n- We don't allow drugs or parties. That doesn't say that you can't enjoy a cold one! But why not go and enjoy the night life and what the Barossa Valley has to offer? \n- We like to live and let live, but be mindful of others as far as noise is concerned. \nThanks!
