About this campspace

Visit our peaceful Bouillon campsite with your own tent, or rent our glamping tent for a luxurious campsite experience in Wallonia! Our guests can pitch their tents on the grassy meadow located next to our stone house. They can enjoy a separate entrance to the campsite, running water (both cold and hot available inside the house), electricity (one outlet), space to store their food in the fridge, and a BBQ and wood-fired oven. It's also possible to build your own campfire.
Our Belgian campsite is situated near a butcher, if you have plans to cook your own dinner. Animals are allowed, if they are well-mannered and don't bark all night! ;-)

A dream location for hikers, cyclist and foodies!
At walking distance, you'll find woods and a river for kayaking, fishing and swimming in in the summer.
We have a closed garage available to store your bike or motorcycle.
We have three ways to spend the night on our property:
- Three tent pitches in our meadow, along with our four friendly, small sheep.
- An additional tent pitch away from animals.
- A glamping tent with a view. This tent isn't fully furnished. A best, lamps, two chairs, table and kitchenware are available upon request.
During the day you can visit the Castle of Bouillon, the Orval trappist brewery and the scenic spot Le Tombeau du Géant. In this area, there are hundreds of kms of of guided paths for all levels.
End your day with an aperitivo on the terrace or on the hills of the meadow at sunset, looking out over the woods....

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience staying at Damien's backyard camping place with sheep. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and serene, and the hospitality was absolutely outstanding. Everyone was welcomed with open arms and made to feel right at home. The scenery was beautiful, with rolling hills, lush green grass and the sound sheep strolling around. Even though it was only a small campground, Damien still made sure everyone had everything they needed and more. I highly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to check out Damien's backyard camping spot - it's definitely worth the trip!

What a chill place to catch your breath! Quiet village with beautiful hiking trails around it and also some nice places. The tent is nice but very basic so if you like luxury this may not be the place.

How was the contact with the host?
Damien is a very nice host who likes to share all the info and checks often enough if everything is to your liking. Even if your oldtimer's battery is dead, it's your friend who will turn the village inside out to help you out. We will definitely come back!

Had a very nice holiday! Camped here for 4 nights and enjoyed it very much. The area is beautiful, we made a very nice walk with beautiful views (route 15) and there is a nice town nearby, Bouillon.
For the supermarket you have to drive to Bouillon (10 minutes) but there is a butcher in the village that also sells delicious filled baguettes.
There is little shade at the tents, but fortunately it cools down a lot at night.
All in all really enjoyed it!

We hiked a GR around Bouillon, and this was perfectly close. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Damien and his girlfriend. Beautiful garden with enough space for a tent, option to make a fire in consultation with Damien. In the morning we were even offered a coffee. So very hospitable! :) Recently there is the bridge at the moulin de l' epine, which makes it possible to cross the Semois, for example to step towards tombeau du geant. We had nice days. We thought it was a bit crazy/pity that the owner was not present the days we were there (besides the first few minutes we arrived). We also had to receive and guide the other guests. That's fine, but the fact that there's no one left at all for the next few days is a bit strange.
For 30 euros per night you have many campsites that are tidier and cleaner and where someone is present.
We clearly see the good intentions. We also certainly enjoyed the nice environment, the sheep and the sweet neighbor cat.
