We welcome you to our back-to-basic 1-hectare backyard, consisting of a great diversity of vegetation and afforestation.

You are welcome with your tent, small camper van or roof tent! Come camp under the trees or in the open field. Explore the beautiful surroundings with a nice walk or bike ride, or enjoy the outdoor sauna on our grounds. Unwind by the toad pool at the back of the property or light a fire by the fire pit while looking out at the grazing galloways.

We have 1 toilet and a number of uncovered cold water taps with sink. There is also a 3 person outdoor sauna (surcharge, per sauna visit, so not per person) and a (cold) outdoor shower (not covered). A bicycle can be borrowed, and supermarkets are about 2 km away.

Activities nearby: cycling tours, mountain bike tracks, golf, sauna/wellness, boat rental, Biesbosch cruise, restaurants including a pancake house with a playground for kids.

My son, and a friend of his, the dog and I had a super cool spot next to the campfire. We made good use of that. Location is certainly nice but for 24 euros per night I expect hot water.

1 toilet for a campsite where there were already about 12 guests at a quiet moment is also a bit sparse.

How was the contact with the host?
Started well. Unfortunately, around 6:00 PM we received a report that the neighbors were having a party for the hockey club. Can happen, party is part of it, although I would have liked to have known this in advance.
It was fun until about 23:00 but when the music on volume festival still continued after midnight, the fun was over. Tents are quite noisy and I did pay to camp in peace. The screams only got louder and the music got louder with waves. Since nothing was done about it and I didn't feel like crawling out of my tent in the middle of the night to look for the doorbell of people I don't know where a horde of drunken young people hang out, I have decided to inform the police.
Police visited twice, first a warning. Then informed me that they would drive by again a little later, if it was not quieter, a fine would be handed out.
I have a hunch that they came by a second time.
This was a pity, but what really disappointed me is that the owner went around the campsite the next day to ask who had called. And then gives us a sermon about that "you in the country" don't get along like that "you communicate" and "we city people" apparently call the police.
