Back 2 Basics in green
About this campspace #s004143

Your host
JoranWelcome to the end of the streets, back to basics, a quiet piece of land in the heart of the Kempen. Unwind completely on an open meadow.
SERVICES
The facilities are limited to a pump with groundwater where you can freshen up or do your dishes. NB! This is not drinking water. There is also a cute wooden toilet.
CAMPFIRE
Making a fire in the evening? This is possible in a communal fire pit. You have to provide your own wood. You can always bring your own fire bowl if you want more privacy. Burning open fires is not allowed.
GAS FIRES/BBQ
Do you like to bake your own piece of meat or egg in the morning? Then you can bring a fire or (disposable) barbecue. Caution is advised in dry weather.
NATURE RESERVE
The meadow is within walking distance of the beautiful nature reserve De Lovenhoek, where a walking route takes you through meadows and woods along the water. A piece of heaven on earth.
THE BARN
"The Barn" is a barn behind the family home. Here you can consume something in the evening on request. It is not a public cafe.
RIVER
Warm weather? Book a day of canoeing or kayaking in advance with one of the local organizations. Or cool off on the banks of the Nete, where you can also swim.
HANNES BEAUTY LOUNGE
Perfect for a pampering day. Pedicure, manicure, facial care and all that for a great price. Early reservation is recommended.

Enjoyed a night on the green meadow. Peace, really no car traffic, beautiful view and long evening sun, right on the hiking nodes and the beautiful nature reserve Lovenhoek is nearby. Toilet is very basic. Pump water is useful for washing dishes, but showering is not really possible. So basic, but nice place!
How was the contact with the host?
Very good. Always quick response and friendly reception. Also great tips for exploring the area.
Tips for new guests?
It might be best to check in advance whether the grass is tall or short. Not everyone finds tall grass pleasant to camp in :-). However, that is not a problem with a bus.

We had a lovely time in quiet Vorselaar.
Beautiful meadow for us alone :-). Sun in the morning, nice walk to the castle as an extra asset.

Very pleasant experience! Basic clean meadow with toilet-hut and groundwater pump in the middle of nature. We have not been in the shed where you can drink or play games. Super friendly welcome and very helpful guys. We will definitely go back…Recommended for those who love real camping!

Rules
LEAVE NO TRACES
Together we keep the meadow clean, both for the next guests and certainly for the horses. We use this piece to provide them with hay in the winter months. So don't throw anything on the floor, dog feces should also be cleaned up. Ashtray can be provided for smokers.
NOT TO LOUD
We ask to take into account any other guests who also come here for the rest. Feel free to come and have a party on request in "the barn", but keep it quiet on the meadow.
PARKING
On arrival you will receive a number where you can put your tent, car or camper. Please stand in front of the sign (on the mowed area). We do this to avoid damage to the meadow.
Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 3 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). Otherwise they will not be refunded.
