Welcome to the end of the streets, back to basics, a quiet piece of land in the heart of the Kempen. Relax completely on an open meadow.

SERVICES
The facilities are limited to a pump with groundwater where you can freshen up or do your dishes. NB! This is not drinking water. There is also a cute wooden toilet. Further on at the tipi tents there is the option to take a shower in our ecological rain shower. This shower is fully heated by solar energy. A surcharge of €3 pp is charged for the showers for campers with a tent, camper, caravan or mobile home. For some privacy, it is best to bring swimwear.

Step inside and feel the warm glow of the softly lit space. Relax on the cozy double bed made up with lush blankets, fur and pillows, perfect for snuggling up in after an adventurous walk in the Lovenhoek nature reserve.
Your feet will sink into the cozy carpet as you walk around and enjoy the intimate atmosphere. The chest of drawers and clothes hangers are ready to neatly store your clothes.
In the center of the tent is a charming table covered with a soft white fur. Here you can enjoy a delicious cup of tea or coffee.

Be enchanted by the greenery of nature as you enter the luxurious and themed tipi tent of Tropical Oasis. Here we bring the beauty of the jungle inside, so that you feel like you're on another continent, right in the heart of the quiet Kempen.
Inside the tent you are surrounded by a lush oasis. A rattan cabinet and table, beautifully decorated with green leaves, take you on a safari adventure. They bring nature indoors and provide a unique setting in which you can relax and enjoy. Use the coffee maker or hot water boiler to treat yourself to a delicious cup of coffee or tea, while you are surrounded by the green beauty of Tropical Oasis. Let the aromas stimulate your senses.

CAMPFIRE

Do you like to bake your own piece of meat or egg in the morning? Then you can bring a fire or (disposable) barbecue. Caution is advised in dry weather.

NATURE RESERVE
The meadow is within walking distance of the beautiful Lovenhoek nature reserve, where a walking route takes you through meadows and forests along the water. A piece of heaven on earth.

THE BARN
"The Barn" is a barn behind the family home. Here you can consume something in the evening on request. It is not a public cafe.

RIVER
Warm weather? Book a day of canoeing or kayaking in advance with one of the local organizations. Or cool off on the banks of the Nete, where you can also swim.

  • The location is located 500m from a beautiful nature reserve where you can cycle or walk to your heart's content. The 14 chapels and the castle of Vorselaar are certainly worth a visit.

  • De Molen van Hool is located on the border between Vorselaar and grobbendonk and also offers beautiful walking routes in a peaceful atmosphere along the water. This is also a drop-off point for kayaks and canoes that can be rented for a fun day out.

Enjoyed a night on the green meadow. Peace, really no car traffic, beautiful view and long evening sun, right on the hiking nodes and the beautiful nature reserve Lovenhoek is nearby. Toilet is very basic. Pump water is useful for washing dishes, but showering is not really possible. So basic, but nice place!

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. Always quick response and friendly reception. Also great tips for exploring the area.

Tips for new guests?
It might be best to check in advance whether the grass is tall or short. Not everyone finds tall grass pleasant to camp in :-). However, that is not a problem with a bus.

LEAVE NO TRACES
Together we keep the meadow clean, both for the next guests and certainly for the horses. We use this piece to provide them with hay in the winter months. So don't throw anything on the floor, dog feces should also be cleaned up. Ashtray can be provided for smokers.

NOT TO LOUD
We ask to take into account any other guests who also come here for the rest. Feel free to come and have a party on request in "the barn", but keep it quiet on the meadow.

PARKING
On arrival you will receive a number where you can put your tent, car or camper. Please stand in front of the sign (on the mowed area). We do this to avoid damage to the meadow.
