Bed and Breakfast Casa Traca is a small-scale B&B on the edge of a small village in the middle of nature. Also rental of a holiday home on a large quinta with 4 hectares of land.
Casa Traca is located halfway up Mont'Alto in the Serra do Açor. In this xisto mountain range you will find wild rock formations, heights and valleys. There are valleyless rivers and beautiful waterfalls differ due to the height.
Enjoy the authentic picturesque villages, the mountains and the rivers. It is an ideal environment for walking and, above all, enjoying nature.
The garden of the actual B&B is not very large, but it is equipped with many fruit trees, a small vegetable garden with pickled vegetables and many lounge areas to relax. Feel free to eat from the garden!
The B&B has a hot tub which can also be used by guests (for a fee). The holiday home includes the use of the swimming pool. The B&B has 4 spacious themed rooms and offers a lot of privacy. An extensive fresh breakfast is available every morning.
Dogs are welcome in the B&B, but in consultation.

Your host, José
I am José, Dutch and I have been running my small-scale B&B in Central Portugal since May 2016. I do this in addition to my work as a web designer and consultant. It can be busy at times but I love meeting people, sharing my beautiful place and letting my guests enjoy the way I enjoy living in this part of Portugal.
Rules
Dogs are allowed but always under supervision. It is not allowed to smoke inside. Open fire is not allowed outside.
Cancellation Policy
Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in date will receive a refund of the amount paid by them (excl. Campspace fees). If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they will receive a 50% refund. Otherwise they will not be refunded.
