We are a farm in a 100-inhabitant village in Middle Franconia on the border to Lower Franconia and Baden-Württemberg. Close to Würzburg and Rothenburg and the spa town of Bad Windsheim. A wide variety of animal species that are threatened with extinction live here. Above all, my husband's favorite: the Franconian yellow cattle (cattle breed). Also angler saddle pigs, Augsburg and Vorwerk chickens, Gröllwitzer turkeys and Pomeranian ducks and rabbits. In the village itself, the Ottilienquelle and the beautiful church are worth seeing. For children there is a table tennis table and a slope slide, but there are also numerous play options on the farm, from a sandpit to a trampoline to many straw-hopping and animal-feeding opportunities. Located on the Way of St. James and Kunigunden, our village is also a popular transit point for pilgrims. You can go shopping in the farm shop: lots of farm produce and lots of other things that are available in the region.

Your host, Esther

Hello, my name is Esther and I live with my husband and five children in the small village of Pfahlenheim in Middle Franconia, on a farm.
We are in the process of converting our farm to organic and as a trained educator, I also offer children's birthday parties in addition to musical support. In addition, we organize a special event for the whole family about every 2 months, here at our farm and the animals.
We are always curious about visitors and look forward to showing you around and introducing you to the animals.
