Kaufbeuren is a nice, typical German town near the Alps - the "Allgäu". Many lakes around.
90 km to Munich (1 hour with train every 1/2 hour)
45 km to the Alps
45 km to Neuschwanstein (King Ludwig II's Castle)
40 km to Wieskirche

We can provide a lot of possibilities for hiking in the near Bavarian oder Tyrolean Alps. (Allgäuer, Lechtaler, Ammergauer, Tannheimer Alpen)

Our place is reached within 20min from the Autobahn Lindau - München (A96).
