We are an enthusiastic couple who have just started creating a fun mini campsite that is affordable for everyone.
Just simple, but cozy, and in consultation a lot is possible 😀.
We are here to make it pleasant and pleasant for everyone to see.
Welcome!
The National Park is a beautiful forest from which we are 100 meters away.
Zutendaal has several fun things to do! For young and old.

Had a wonderful no-nonsense stay. Clean sanitary facilities, nice place near the horses. Nice little petting zoo. It is clear that the people take care of all animals with heart and soul. :)

Very good. Always had a quick and friendly response.

I rented their caravan from Annie for 4 nights - basic but cosy, electricity and cold running water available, hot water and shower in sanitary block. Everything is quite basic and you will find some straw everywhere, but that seems to be expected at a riding school 😁 You also stay right next to the horses, very nice!
How was the contact with the host?
Unbelievably sweet! A very warm welcome, a cup of coffee, always a wave in passing or a chat, and Annie even arranged for me to go for a ride in the woods on my last day with Manon (who was also fantastically helpful and supportive as I hadn't been there for years). more on a horse!)
Tips for new guests?
Bring dirty shoes (I had rain and then there is some mud everywhere) and walking shoes because the area is FANTASTIC for walking, especially when the heather is in bloom in Aug-Sept 💜

We have enjoyed your presence. You are a wonderfully positive and open-minded woman!
You were unlucky that you had 2 days of rain and yet you still saw the fun of it!
Thank you for your review and we look forward to seeing you again!

We slept between the horses :-) with sounds of the sheep and rooster in the background. Shower basic, but for that money we don't expect more. Was very nice.
How was the contact with the host?
Nice lady.
Tips for new guests?
You are a guest among the horses. So put on your dirty shoes.

Hi Eve,
Thank you very much for the sweet review. Too bad the weather was so bad that we were forced to put the horses in the stable.
Hope to see you!

A wonderful weekend behind us at horse pension 't Venhof. Just really gone. A spacious camping spot in the middle of the horses. With your own electricity on your camping pitch and separate sanitary facilities. Don't expect a star campsite, because then you've come to the wrong place. This is back to basics but with just that little bit more comfort. You can even bring your own horse if you want. There is a beautiful track, provided for jumping. For the children there is a mini farm with sheep, goats, chickens, bunnies and a cuddly pony. You can even have breakfast there and eat a bowl of fries with a croquette in the evening. All very simple, but that's exactly what we like. We took our bikes with us to explore all the cycling nodes in the area... and there are quite a few! Beautiful environment. We were sorry that the weekend was already over. We will definitely be back!
How was the contact with the host?
Annie is a super sweet lady to whom you can go with all your questions. Even your breakfast is personalized :).
Tips for new guests?
You are standing on an open, sandy meadow. In warm weather it is best to provide enough shade :). And special pickets for loose sand are also useful, but not necessary.

I really enjoyed it and felt really at home! A very nice atmosphere and safe environment. From alone at your tent, neighborhoods with the hosts to helping with feeding and cleaning. I really appreciated that you can always come and chat for a while but your peace is fully respected.
A cozy Dutch atmosphere in Belgium with open and friendly people!
How was the contact with the host?
Good! Easy to talk to and a lot is possible in consultation.
Thank you for the nice time. I'll definitely return!

Hi Alexander.
Yes, that was a bit of maneuvering with your beautiful large caravan. But with such a good driver as you it worked!👍👍.
And you are always welcome back 😃.

What a nice campsite! Nice and small and cozy and indeed: between the horses.
But there are not only horses: also a cuddly sheep, goat and pony.
You can even sleep in their tents if you don't have a tent with you.
How was the contact with the host?
The hostess and host are super friendly and helpful. They also have an eye for the children and answer all your questions.
The booking was also arranged quickly.
Tips for new guests?
You can use all facilities: hot shower, toilets, there is even a small cafeteria with hot snacks.
You can walk along while feeding the horses. They also give you extra explanation!

Had bad luck that it was a real rain and wind weekend (in March), but still had a very nice stay.
This cozy riding school is located in the middle of the Limburg woods, where you can camp in a pleasant, quiet and cozy way. Annie is extremely friendly and helpful and the riding environment makes it a unique stay.
The only downside is the shower, which is very basic, but otherwise completely top.
How was the contact with the host?
Fine; Always an immediate answer to an (online) question.
Tips for new guests?
At the end of the street is a junction for 'horse walks' that you can also use as a walking route (mostly unpaved paths).

Ideal campsite for animal lovers, you really sleep next to horses. There are also goats, chickens, dogs and cats.
We stayed there for 1 night on a hot August day, there is little shelter so it was very hot in our tent. Better to visit on a slightly less hot day.
Plumbing is ok.
How was the contact with the host?
Pleasant contact, everything went very smoothly, always got a quick response. Warm welcome.
Tips for new guests?
Bring a bug spray!
