Alpakahof am Apfelwald - An animalistic natural pleasure for young and old.

Embedded between Galgenberg, Picho, Kapellenberg and Tschelentsy on both sides of the "Long Water" lies our alpaca farm in the apple forest on the outskirts of Dretschen. Thanks to the central location in the middle of the beautiful Bautzen Oberland, nature and city explorers alike get their money's worth. We also have a small selection of delicacies and wines for you. With us you can use the kitchen, sauna, playground and grill, there is a dry toilet, seating and a fireplace. A refreshingly cool shower and USB charging stations are also available.
You are welcome to pitch your tent or van in the shade of our old apple trees on our meadow orchard.
We offer a mobile home parking space for short overnight stays on our farm.
Last-minute travelers are welcome to book our tiny house.
From hiking to city trips, everything is possible in our area, or you can simply relax over a cozy evening around the campfire and listen to the animals in concert.

Visit our alpacas in their enclosure, petting is allowed. Rent bikes from us and explore the area, go bouldering or take a day trip to Dresden. If required, we will be happy to provide you with bread rolls in the morning so that you can start your adventure well strengthened.

Very nice facility with lots of space and everything you need! Right on site: bench, table, chairs, grill, fire barrel, firewood, coal, dry toilet, platform for tent, swing! And there are other sanitary facilities just 200 m away, everything is super clean and in top condition.
Perhaps the only downer is that the meadow is right next to a road where there isn't much traffic, but especially during working hours you're more likely to hear the cars than nature. Otherwise it's not really a problem!

We spent 5 great nights in Roland and his family's garden. It was really really nice. Our children were enthusiastic about the alpacas, which had their run just a few meters from our tent. Family connection was included, our children got along so well with Roland's children that they didn't want to go home. Super relaxed stay. Roland and his family are wonderful people. Both our kids (3 & 7) loved playing in the garden with their daughter. There was a beautiful treehouse, lovely small kitchen and an epic sauna.

The campsite was on a beautiful apple orchard with a toilet and a table. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They have put a lot of love and detail into their campspace. There is also a very nice lounge especially for guests in case the weather should be bad. No question, the highlights are definitely the 4 funny alpacas and the lovingly designed courtyard to discover! In general, we were able to quickly switch off from everyday life and relax on the property. It's just great for that. The only thing that pulls you out of the idyll when you're lying on the apple orchard meadow is a country road within earshot. But in our case it really didn't bother us.
