In 2008 we bought an old farm with an estate in an agricultural area, which we completely renovated. Over the years our love for alpacas grew and ponies came to be in the meadows.
We enjoy being active in nature and this beautiful and peaceful place to live. Several times friends and acquaintances said 'I would like to pitch my tent here'. We personally enjoy the peace, space and animals around us every day.
My husband runs a horticultural business, I myself am a teacher in special education. In addition, we take care of our herd of alpacas and ponies together with our 2 children.
Recently we have a pop-up campsite for everyone who loves camping. With this new challenge we want to let people experience the green, to introduce them to the wonderful world of alpacas.

It was an instructive weekend and a great camping experience! We really enjoyed looking around the farm, pitching our tent in the meadow between the alpacas, feeding and helping the animals in the stable and especially taking them for a walk! The tree house was also super cozy. The outside toilet and sink made the stay very comfortable. We certainly hope to come back here!

How was the contact with the host?
Lien and Tom really welcomed us warmly and were always ready for questions or if we needed anything! Thanks to them, we could even enjoy a real campfire between the showers!

Tips for new guests?
We learned a lot about the alpacas during the walk with quiz and
the soup - from home-grown zucchini - afterwards was super tasty!
This place is highly recommended - both for kids and adults :D

Camping at 't Heeseind was great. Lien and Tom are very friendly and welcoming and we had a beautiful place in the middle of the alpacas. Living among the animals (including ponies, chickens, rabbits and goats) is a lot of fun. In the afternoon we had a nice lunch in the tree house, in the evening we sat by the fire.

Very good

Tips for new guests?

We spent 3 days at Alpacamping with our 4-year-old son. Had a special experience, an unforgettable adventure, and kind personal attention from the host family. War wonderful to see the children playing free in the nature with the animal

How was the contact with the host?
Warm, welcoming, easy, and flexible. They did not only provide a spot for the tent but showed us the daily life of the countryside involving the kids in the care of the animals.

We all enjoyed our stay incredibly hard. Lien and Tom are 2 very enthusiastic, passionate animal lovers and pass that enthusiasm on to their guests. Our children helped take care of the animals. The tree house and the fire pit also provided a lot of fun. Not to mention feeding the alpacas. We really enjoyed every moment.

How was the contact with the host?
Tom and Lien were always ready to help, but they weren't intrusive. We could always approach their children if there was something wrong. Very nice people!

Tips for new guests?
Do not bring desserts and drinks because local products are available.

Have a wonderful day!
Two nights with my 9 year old daughter in the tent among the alpacas.

Very nice experience. Huge warm and hospitable reception by Lien, husband and cheerful offspring.
Enjoyed the animals, the tree house, the primitive cooking (and the jokes!) by the campfire…

Sanitary is basic but neat and clean.
It is precisely that basic that has its charm.

Everything you need for a few blissful days in the outdoors.
Also plenty of fun things to do in the area.
We'll be back for sure!

How was the contact with the host?
Friendly, clear, fast and hospitable!

On arrival we immediately had a good feeling. We were welcomed by Lila (daughter of Lien & Tom) who told us very enthusiastically about the rabbits and the dog Tibo. We have been able to enjoy the tranquility of this place for 4 nights. Lien and Tom are very lovely people who do everything to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. The alpacas are fun and curious. The horses are sweet and certainly like a handful of grass. Plenty to discover in the area. In short, nice people, lovely animals and a beautiful environment.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good. In addition to the necessary moments, there is also room for more personal contact. We experience this as nice.

Tips for new guests?
Keep in mind (for now) that there is no hot water and shower yet. We washed the dishes by boiling some water. Showering was also successful in consultation.

Together with my 2 children I only stayed 1 night at this fantastic place. The children want to go back immediately. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves with the children of the host couple, with the animals, the tree house, ... and I greatly enjoyed the peace, the space and the very warm reception. A rare find and so close to home.

How was the contact with the host?
Very good, very fast, very clear, very warm.

Tips for new guests?
Besides what I already wrote about the camping site itself, the region is also very interesting: walks, bike rides, diving towers, play mountains, swimming pools, ... there is all sorts of things.

We have had a fantastic weekend at 't Heeseinde. The kids loved helping feed the alpacas and have been floating from the tree house with the zipline the whole time.
The cozy Be-Mine site of Beringen is nearby, perfect for going for a swim at Sportoase, climbing between industrial heritage or to visit the mining museum. We also enjoyed a walk in the flowering heather at the end of the street.
When we left, we hadn't even left the street when the kids were already asking when we were coming back :)

How was the contact with the host?
Very smooth contact, very friendly and helpful.
