About this campspace

Hello lovely travellers,
I have a half acre plot near Townsville city with fruit trees, herb garden and vegetables. Campers are encouraged to get into the garden and use the produce and also make your mark by planting something as well. There is a huge tamarind tree which provides a cool shady area even on hot days. One of the last tall eucalyptus trees in the area is on my place and attracts a lot of bird life in the morning and afternoon. Countless species of birds visit my place throughout the year and there is always bird song to keep you company.
The river is at the end of the street and has many secluded dreamy spots to watch the world go by. Along the river is a network of pathways to explore on bike.
The land is fully fenced with a locked gate - you will get a code for the lock box and asked to keep the gate closed at all times.
There are neighbours and loud music and parties are not allowed. If you have any special requests regarding this - please contact me.
The local pub - The Vale Hotel has pool tables for free some nights of the week and always some good dinner and drink deals. Stocklands shopping centre is at the end of the road and provides everything you could want for shopping. There are a lot of restaurants and take away just a short walk away - Indian, Chinese, Subway, Maccas, pub food, Thai, Sushi etc.
There is water and power available and soon to be a certified compost toilet and hot shower as well.
Sometimes there is a caretaker staying here that can help to show you around.
Although pets are allowed - please take care of the native wildlife and treat my place as if you are in a national park. I love the possums, lizards and birds that visit me.
