If you haven't heard of yurt camping and are curious about booking one, a yurt is specific accommodation shaped as a circular tent that is used by nomads in Mongolia, Siberia, and Turkey. So what makes yurt camping so special? Yurt camping can be very luxurious and is often one of the accommodations used for glamping. Sleep in a spacious and nicely decorated yurt for a few nights to experience the holiday feeling, all while being close to home! Yurts can fit a lot more furniture and things compared to other tents, for example, a picnic bench or table and chairs. Some of our host’s yurts include sinks and a small kitchen area, and a large bed! Yurt camping is ideal for couples or two travel companions.
Enjoy complete privacy, your own space, and the sound of silence as you're in the middle of nature! It’s a convenient and comfortable way of camping, and when you get out of bed in the morning, you can simply walk out and enjoy the grass between your toes and the sun on your face. Make your own easy camping breakfast!
Luxury doesn’t stop there, if you want a bit of a blood-pumping adventure or balance out your peaceful night's sleep, you can easily go for intensive hikes or a bike ride! If you’re by bodies of water, go swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or fishing! Perhaps you can fish your own dinner! We highly recommend challenging yourself and eating plant-based meals. Support your local farmers and buy from their markets. Their produce is fresh, organic, and way more sustainable.
In the evenings, make a campfire and get cosy! Roast some marshmallows, throw a blanket over yourself, and enjoy the crackling sounds of the fire.
So what are you waiting for? Your campspace getaway is just around the corner!
Prefer other glamping accommodations? You can also go sleeping in a safari tent, sleeping in a tipi or sleeping in a tree house.
