Due to the pandemic virus, most of the people stay at home and are not allowed to go out as usually. This is the only way to prevent further spread. Fortunately, there are many things people can do when they are locked out in their houses for a few weeks or even months. Let’s see the positive side of this situation.

Families have now plenty of time to spend with their children and do very constructive and joyful activities together. Children usually do not like staying at home but playing outside with their friends. They have so much energy to spend everyday that now parents have to find clever and entertaining activities to channel all this energy. One very amusing activity is handcrafting and especially when it is combined with a good purpose. All these handcrafts with your family can be sent to elderly people that are isolated now and maybe will be very happy with this initiative or to hospitals with patients.

Create a Collagraph.

This activity features a special kind of print- making called collagraphy, where flat materials are layered and glued onto a base, then painted and used to create a final finished print. Collagraph art is a great way to teach your child about history and challenge her creativity at the same time.
